Brief - to provide catering for a 60th Birthday summer garden party for a private client at their home in Edinburgh.

The enquiry came via an auction prize that Appetite donated to the Prince’s Trust’s annual ‘Lunch With An Old Bag’ fundraiser, which raises in excess of £500,000 for the Trust each year.

This was a bespoke event for a very discerning client. The pitch included two themed installations; a seafood stall and a potting shed themed stall, specially designed summer canapés and bowl food for the 100 guests in attendance.

Appetite Direct partnered with premium Scottish suppliers to provide props and flower arrangements for the party and the stalls were dressed by the Appetite Event's food styling team. A large seafood installation was centred on the kitchen island; dressed with glass stands, silver platters and tons of ice. The aim was to exceed everyone’s expectations and with our high standards, attention to detail and professional staff on hand, the ultimate party creators did just that.

Canapés included - Carpaccio of Scottish Beef, Toasted Brioche, Beetroot Compote and Micro Basil; Masala Spiced Popcorn Chicken with Pistachio served in a cone with Coriander & Chilli Yoghurt; Pea, Mint and Feta Arancini with Parmesan Crisp to name just a few.

There were also Pudding Canapés which included - Appetite's Awesome Cake Pops; Salted Caramel Chocolate Pots with Honeycomb

The Bowl Food selection included - Appetite's Chicken Caesar Croquettes; Risotto Bowl - Pea, Risotto with Truffle Dressing
